Can I earn professional development credit?

Yes! By attending the EQuip to Achieve Learning Management System, you can earn approximately 100+ hours of professional development credit. This applies to both the on-demand and live sessions, including all full sessions indicated with dark blue thumbnail text that include video sessions. After completing a full session, you will receive a completion certificate that you can download and save to your computer as proof of attendance.

The professional learning hours are accredited by the Illinois State Board of Education through our partnership with the Chicago Teachers Union Foundation. This credit is available for educators, as well as business professionals, community members, and EQ/SEL practitioners.

How do I submit my PD hours to ISBE?

These workshops have previously qualified for continuing education credits through our partnerships with professional development accrediting organizations. It is best to check with your certifying agency to confirm if credits will apply. You will receive a certificate for each workshop completed, which can serve as proof of attendance. Often, to receive credit, log into your professional development account and enter the necessary information for each workshop completed, including the name of the activity, provider, total hours, session description, and dates. The summit system will track your completed sessions and but will not automatically forward the information to a particular accrediting organization.

Can I earn professional development credit towards my non-Illinois professional educator license?

Currently, our professional development accreditation is through Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE). If your organization accepts this credit, then yes, you can earn professional development hours.

For more information you may need to reach out to  your organization’s accreditation contact.
