Douglas Yau, Ph.D, MBA, is a trained Emotional Intelligence instructor and EQ technology entrepreneur. He is also a co-founder and the chairman of the Board at STRUT Learning. In his prior academic research career, he published 25 abstracts and 11 peer reviewed manuscripts. He is also an experienced accredited Angel investor and has reviewed and advised on the investability of over 60 startups. Doug earned his PhD from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and MBA in Leadership and Change Management from DePaul University-Kellstadt Graduate School of Business. He also holds graduate certificates in Emotional Intelligence from The University of Illinois in Chicago and The Liautaud Institute. Having seen the positive effects of increasing his own EQ, Doug has made it a life goal of enhancing the emotional intelligence of our kids, so that they may enjoy academic and career success and in turn enhance society as a whole.
